NeuroSky: A game device that can read your mind

I think the most exciting technology exhibited at Game Developers Conference this year is NeuroSky. NeuroSky is a headset device that can track signals inside the brain to roughly extrapolate how a gamer reacts to a game objects. If you think I am writing sci-fi, just watch the video clip below...

You can move objects...and even set fire on the an object!!!!!

I listened to another interview with the companuy's CEO, he said the headset will be available at USD $50, that is much cheaper than I have expected...

The shiniest computer in the world

Japanese computer manufacturer, Zeus, introduced a new range of PCs. On the physical appearance, the CPU box is wrapped in platinum or gold colour. The casing is encrusted with diamonds which are arranged to resemble constellations. Inside, it is equipped with 3GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 256MB GeForce 8400S graphics card, 1 terabyte SATA drive, 2GB RAM, and Blu-ray / HD-DVD optical drives. It comes with Vista Ultimate, too. The platinum-casing choice (called Jupiter) is sold at 80 million yen. The gold casing (Mars) is slightly cheaper and is available at 60 million yen. I am curious how many units are sold to date.

Gelfrog: Futuristic laptop

I always like the design by Frog Design. The physical appearance of the laptop looks nice. Same to the user interface design of the applications. This rubberized laptop is not not only rugged and lightweight, the skin can change colour according to the surrounding too (A micro-camera scans then projects the matching pattern on its surface).
